ScamGuard: Link Checker Terms of Use

These Terms govern your use of the ScamGuard: Link Checker app and related services. By using ScamGuard: Link Checker, you agree to these Terms.

Operator identity

ScamGuard: Link Checker is a MiniFyn product operated by Sylvester Kumar Das (UDYAM-KL-12-0136086).

Purpose of the app

ScamGuard: Link Checker provides informational URL risk analysis for links, QR-code destinations, and Android link handoffs. Results are heuristic, reputation, policy, and AI-assisted signals. They are not professional security, legal, financial, banking, or fraud-response advice and are not a guarantee that any link is safe, unsafe, fraudulent, or legitimate.

No guarantees

ScamGuard: Link Checker is provided "as is" and "as available." We make no warranty on uninterrupted operation, complete link coverage, perfect detection accuracy, or prevention of scams, phishing, malware, account compromise, payment loss, identity misuse, or other harm. False positives and false negatives can occur.

Not a bank or recovery service

ScamGuard: Link Checker does not hold funds, initiate payments, monitor bank accounts, investigate fraud claims, provide reimbursement, or replace your bank, payment provider, browser, antivirus, device security controls, or official support channels.

User responsibilities

  • You are responsible for your own online decisions and actions.
  • Do not enter passwords, OTPs, payment details, identity details, or recovery codes based only on a ScamGuard result.
  • For banking, payments, account recovery, tax, delivery, or identity requests, verify through the official app, website, phone number, or support channel.
  • You must not use ScamGuard: Link Checker for unlawful, abusive, or malicious activity.
  • You must not attempt to abuse or overload ScamGuard: Link Checker infrastructure.

Pro, AI Mode, and payments

  • Pro is a Google Play managed one-time in-app product.
  • AI Mode is a Google Play managed subscription and includes Pro features.
  • Purchase availability, pricing, taxes, renewals, and trials may vary by region and Google Play account.
  • Payments are processed by Google Play and are subject to Google Play terms, policies, and billing controls.
  • Pro and AI Mode unlock status may be stored locally in the app and restored through Google Play purchase restore flows.
  • Baseline model-assisted checks may run in the app. AI Mode subscribers receive access to full AI review details and subscriber features while the subscription is active.

Refund and cancellation

Google Play manages purchases, subscription renewal, cancellation, and refund requests. AI Mode continues until the end of the current billing period after cancellation unless Google Play or applicable law provides otherwise. Pro is a one-time digital unlock. Refund eligibility is handled through Google Play and applicable law.

Pricing and offers

Promotional pricing (for example launch offers) may be changed, paused, or removed at any time.

Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, ScamGuard: Link Checker and its operators are not liable for direct, indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from use of the app, inability to use the app, or reliance on its output.

Service changes

We may modify, suspend, or discontinue features at any time. AI-assisted results, model availability, and cloud reputation checks may change as safety systems are updated.

Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of India.
